lint

Terminal window
monoswan lint [path]

path defaults to the current directory. monoswan loads the nearest root configuration and discovers packages from the workspace declaration beside it. The requested path then limits the packages checked: packages at or below it are selected first. When there are no workspace packages below the requested path, monoswan selects the deepest workspace package containing it. Global and rule-level ignores are then applied before the remaining rules run. monoswan resolves each selected package’s variants and validates its configured files.

Issues are grouped by package. The command exits non-zero when it finds issues or cannot complete.

Terminal window
pnpm exec monoswan lint .
  • --fix runs available autofixes before reporting the remaining issues.
  • --silent suppresses diagnostics without changing the exit code.

Variant content is validated only when a configured rule performs that validation. See the linting overview for built-in rules, custom rules, and ignore behavior.
