create-package

Creates a workspace package from selected variants and their initialization values.

Terminal window
monoswan create-package <path> <package-name> <variants...> [options]

Variants are merged in the order provided. For each variant, its regular configuration is merged first and its initialization configuration second, before processing the next variant. The command writes the resulting package manifest, TypeScript configurations, JSON files, and text files beneath path.

The package name always comes from <package-name>. Existing files and directories are not overwritten, and initializer paths cannot escape the new package.

  • --config package-json stores selected variants under monoswan in package.json. This is the default.
  • --config standalone writes selected variants to monoswan.json instead.
  • --silent suppresses success and error output.

See Package templates for the initialization shape.
